How to: Write or draw (annotate) on slides during a slide show.
Solution:
Use the 'Show Popup' menu to select 'Pen' from 'Pointer Options'.
1) Click right mouse button. (The Show shortcut menu appears.)

2) Select 'Pointer Options'. (A submenu appears.)
3) Select 'Pen'. (The cursor changes to a pen.)
4) Type the desired annotations on the slide.
NOTE: Annotations automatically disappear when moving to the next slide.
